| Aunt Mae had a holy card from Father McHale's funeral in 1937. This card had belonged to my grandmother Bridget McHale Gilroy "Maroy" and was kept with other family funeral cards. Someone knew to tell Maroy he had passed away. I have located a baptismal record for a Patrick McHale for January 21, 1854, for a family in Terrybaun, Addergoole Parish, in Co. Mayo, the same townland as my greatgrandmother's family. This leads me to believe that Honor and Patrick were first cousins. The information here was provided by the Vincentian Fathers.
