| Poem by Mary McHale - Mary was almost totally blind and was very crippled from arthritis. She lived with my family for a while in the 1970s until her health got much worse and she had to go in a nursing home. She was a very intelligent woman who was quite the character in her later years! I suppose the tone of the poem is colored by her years as an Army nurse! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
