McHales of Cum Lahardane, County Mayo
William & Honor McHale
McHale Family of Terrybaun, County Mayo, Ireland
A search through church records for the family of Honor McHale has led to finding a family in Terrybaun, a townland in Addergoole Parish south of Lahardane near Pontoon. The townland of Terry has two parts, Terrybaun and Terryduff. McHales lived in both parts.

Honor's sister Bridget married James Quinn of Cuilnakillew, Addergoole Parish at the church in Lahardane. The Quinn children were baptized at the church in Lahardane.  Cuilnakillew is very near Terrybaun. Another reason to believe this is Honor's family is that a Catherine McNalty was a witness at the wedding of Bridget McHale and James Quinn. A Catherine McNalty was a witness at Honor McHale in Wilkes Barre.

According to parish records, Michael McHale married Catherine McNalty of Cuilnakillew on 2/15/1849. The children of Michael and Catherine were baptized at the church in Lahardane. The family lived in Terry according to the baptismal records,

An additional reason for believing this is Honor's family is the baptismal record for a Patrick McHale born to John McHale and
